Occasionally, automated or electric blinds, are the only option due to roof heights or personal preferences etc., but truthfully, are hard to justify in financial terms. They double the price of blinds for comparatively low benefits (& additional problems of unreliability, complexity & noise).

Motors often fail, can be quite noisy, & rarely last as long as the blinds themselves! In theory, easy & impressive to experience, but in reality noisy & slow.

There are usually better options such as Fast Wind systems, or better quality systems that simply operate more reliably & easily, & without maintenance issues, & financially far more affordable.
